Nyhl will be missed by her grandchildren Annalea, Valerie, Alana, Orrin, Katrina, Cheryl, Beverley, Ron, Brenda Lynn and the late Leslie, as well as five great grandchildren. Nyhl was predeceased by her brothers John, Eugene, Victor and Major, and her sisters Lorena, Wilhelmine, Marie and Victoria. 3003 LANGLOIS, Roger G. - 1925-2009 Passed away unexpectedly at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Saturday morning , July 25, 2009 in his 84th year. Roger is remembered by his wife and companion Edythe. Will be sadly missed by his daughter Dawn-Marie Oltean, sons Roger, Tomas and Gerald and their families also by his stepsons Ronald, Thomas and Wayne Peloski and their families. Roger was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. After his reirement from Canadian Johns-Manville, Roger continued to enjoy tinkering in his basement workshop or traveling to sunnier cilmates. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Claude Laprade on November 13, 2022 at the age of 65.
Dearly beloved husband of Linda (Guindon), cherished father of Julie and Christopher. He was the son of the late Leonard Laprade and Therese Renaud. Loving brother of Joanne, Michel and Marc. He will be sadly missed by his brother in law and best friend Michael Guindon. He is also mourned by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Claude loved the outdoors and fulfilled that passion as a Beaver, Cub and Scout leader with the 4th Orleans Scout Group. After retiring from the RCMP as a technical inspector, Claude became a school bus driver and was known as ?Batman?
A celebration of Claude?s life will be held at the Funeral Co-operative of Ottawa, 419 St. Laurent Blvd on Saturday, November 26th at 1 pm.

3008 Largo, FL/Rochester: Passed peacefully Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at age 95. He was predeceased by wife, Pauline Foster (Lewis). He is survived by his son, Dale (Gloria); daughter, Diane (Neil) Mathews; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Allen was a retiree of Taylor Instrument Co. after 36 years of service.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 8th from 4-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery in Brockport will be private. Memorial contributions may be directed to Suncoast Hospice of Florida (envelopes will be provided at the funeral home).

3010 Last Rites Conducted for R.C. Selfridge

Interment services were held yesterday afternoon in Pine Ridge Cemetery for Robert C. Selfridge, 77, former resident of Saranac Lake who died suddenly Monday afternoon at his home at Deerland, Long Lake.
Mr. Selfridge was born at North Argyle on August 17, 1870, son of James and Elizabeth Cuthbert Selfridge. He came to Saranac Lake to reside while an employee of the New York Central railroad.
He was married in this village to Eliza McClelland who passed away in 1917. Later he moved to Tupper Lake and then Long Lake where he married Annie Scott Plumley in 1930.
For a number of years he and his wife operated Plumley's Camps, a leading summer resort at Long Lake. Funeral rites were conducted at 1:30 p.m. yesterday in the Long Lake Methodist Church.

3011 Last Rites Tuesday for Mrs. Lucas
Funeral services for Mrs. George H. Lucas, 82, who died of a heart condition at Holy Family Hospital yesterday, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sandin-Fuhrman Funeral Home, the Rev. Lester Strubhar officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from today until the time of services on Tuesday.
Mrs. Lucas was born April 30, 1879, in DeWitt, the daughter of Lydia and John A. Purinton. She received her education in Preston schools. On Oct. 5, 1904, she was married to George H. Lucas at Preston. The couple moved to Estherville in December of 1914, where Mr. Lucas was in business until his death in 1933.
Mrs. Lucas was a member of the Christian Church, the Order of Eastern Star and Pythian Sisters.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Herman (Vineta) Jensen, two granddaughters, Mrs. George (Judith Lynne) Shadle and Roxanne Lucas Jensen, and one great grandson, Randall Jensen Shadle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.
Pallbearers will be Ray Rhodes, V.A. Gibbs, Lawrence Jensen, Francis T. Shadle, Delbert Hinsch and F.E. Rosendahl.

In the Name of God, Amen, I Mary Wise of Berwick in y° County of York within the Province of the Massachusetts Bay the Wife of the Rev" M Ieremiah Wise of Said Berwick Clerk, being of a Sound Mind & Memory do make & ordain this to be my last Will & Testament. First I commit my Soul to God that gave it hoping thrô the Mediation of the Lord Jesus Christ to obtain the Remission of all Sins, and eternal Salvation, and my Body I commit to the Earth to be buried in a decent manner at the Discretion of my Executor. The Expence of my Funeral to be paid or allowed out of my Estate.

But notwithstanding a Feme Covert is not impowered by the Law to make Grants Bequests & Conveyances of Estates, yet, for as much as my beloved Husband the Said Ieremiah Wise in & by an Instrument in Writing under his Hand & Seal bearing Date the twenty sixth Day of April in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred & Forty three hath given & granted unto me free Liberty Power & Authority to make my last Will & Testament and thereby to dispose of any Estate either real or personal which blongs to me by Right of Inheritance or which is or Shall be raised by the Sale of any part of Such Estate more especially to dispose of the Sum of Thirteen Hundred pounds, in Bills of Credit of the old Tenor which arose & necrned to me by a Real Estate in Portsm° as by the Said Instrument more fully appears, I do therefore in pursuance of the Licence & Power to me granted as afores" give demise & bequeath the Same as follows Viz'.

Imp'. I give & bequenth unto my Son John Wise to my Grandson David Moore and to my Grandson Shipway Plaisted my Lot of Land and the appurtenances lying & being in Portsmouth in New Hampshire to them their Heirs & Assigns upon the Limitations following viz: That the Said Estate be not Sold to any other person or persons unless my Said Son & Grandsons or their legal representatives consent thereto; But and if one the Said persons Shall be inclined to Sell his third part of the Premisses, then one or both of the other Two Shall have the Refusal thereof he or they paying no more than Twenty five pounds in new Tenor for each Share and if either of the Suid persons Sould die without legal Issue or Disposal of his part of the Premisses as afores" then y* Survivor or Survivors are to enjoy the whole of my Said Estate at Portsmouth.

Also my Will is that my Negro Slave Rose Shall work for her Fifty two Days in a Year till her Negro Wench is able to Do her Work for her.

My Will is that my Husband give to My Son John Wise and to the Heirs of his Body our Silver Tankard.

I give to my Grand Daughter Susannah Moore my best Damask Suit of Cloaths, and My Small red Trunk, and it is my Desire that the Bed and Beding and Furniture in the best Bedroom with the earthen Ware in that Room be given to my S0 Grand Daughter Susannah Moore after the Deccase of my Husband.

I give to my Grand Daughter Mary Wise my black Pudusoy Robe my Russet Gown and my Silver Kann and my little red Trunk and plain Box.

I give to my Grand Daughter Abigail Plaisted my two Silver Porringers to be delivered upon My Decease.

I give to my Grandson David Moore one Hundred pounds in Bills of the old Tenor or equivalent thereto in Bills of y" New Tenor.

I give to my Grandson Shipway Plaisted Three Hundred pounds in Bills of y" old Tenor, or equival' thereto in Bills of the new Tenor.

I give to the Wife of Stephen Seavy of Portsm° a Gold Ring.

I give to My Kinswoman Mary Lord late Mary Wise a Gold Ring.

I give to My Neice Mary Peeker Daughter of Cap John Packer of Haverhill Fifty Pounds in Bills of the old Tenor.

I give all my Gold & Silver Not hereinbefore given to my three Grand Danghters Susannah Moore, Mary Wise and Abigail Plaisted to be equally devided amongst them.

It is my Will that the Several Sums before given and bequeathed be delivered and paid by my Executor to the respective Legatees that Shall be of lawfal Age at my Decease, as Soon as he Can without Injury to himself: aud those that Shall be in their Minority at my Decease to have their legacies paid them as Soon as my Executor can withont Damage to himself after he She or they arrive to lawful Age. And further it is my Will, that if any of my Legatces before named (those to whom I have given my real Estate excepted) Should die before he or She arrive to lawful Age, or without lawful Issue so as to receive his or her respective Legaey herein given, then his or her Legacy or Legaeys Shall be divided amongat all my Surviving Grand Children.

Furthermore my Will is, That the Interest that Shall arise after my Decease from any of the Sums or Legacys given in Bills of Credit as afores" to any of the Legatees aforenamed, while they continue under Age Shall be applied for & towards the Education or Means of Instruction of the person to whom the Same is given respectively.

I give to my Son Iohn Wise the Sixty pounds in Bills of the old Tenor which I have a Note of Hand against him for.

I give to my Son John Wise the Interest of the Bond of Two Hundred pounds in old Tenor which I have against him to him the Said John during his natural Life, provided he Seasonably Secure the Payment thereof to his Daughter Mary after his Decease, which accordingly I give her. I give the Interest of a Bond which I have against my Son in Law Iames Plaisted for the Sum of One Hundred pounds to my beloved Husband during his natural Life: and then I give the Said Bond or Money due upon the Same to my Grandson Shipway Plaisted as part of the Three Hundred pounds before given him.

I give to my beloved Husband Ieremiah Wise the Use and Improvement of all my Household Goods & Furniture (except my Silver Kann Porringers & Spoons, except also two Pewter Platters & Six plates which I give to Sarab Plaisted my Danghter) during his natural Life and after bis Decease to be delivered as before & after expressed. I also give to my Said Husband all the Rest & Residue of my paternal Estate both real and personal to be to his Use & Improvement during his natural life and after his Decease to be to my Daughter Sarah Plaisted and Mary & Elizabeth the Two Daughters of my Son John Wise: Sarah Plaisted to have one half of them, and the Said Mary & Elizabeth to have the other half of them

I do hereby nominate & appoint my Said Husband the Rev" M° Jeremiah Wise Executor of this my last Will & Testament, desiring him to conform to the Same, and to manage dispose & apply the Money Goods & Estate hereby given according to the true Intent & meaning of this my Will. 3013 Latana Joy Everett, 63, Live Oak, Fl passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014. Mrs. Everett was a member of Pine Level Baptist Church in Dowling Park. She is survived by her husband: Harold ?Butch? Everett, Live Oak, Fl; children: Jim Lafitte, Niceville, Fl, Joe (Stephanie) Lafitte, Niceville, Fl, Bonnie L. (Jeff) Hernandez, Tampa, Fl, David (Patty)Everett, Tampa, Fl; sister: Darlene Colon; brothers: Timothy L. (Judy) Jones, Larry R. (Brenda) Jones, Benny A. Jones and eleven grandchildren. Mrs. Everett was preceded in death by her parents: Pleamon L. & Joyce A. Jones. Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 25th at Pine Level Baptist Church with Rev. Lester Curry officiating. 3014 Latham (Lay) N. Fitch, 86, of DeLand, FL, most previously from Kissimmee, FL, passed away Wednesday January 9, 2008. Latham was born in New York City in 1921 to Rev. Elmer B. and Ione Reynolds Fitch. He attended Nyack Missionary Training Institute, Nyack, NY (now Nyack College) in 1939-1942 and was enrolled in Houghton College, Houghton, NY when he enlisted into the army in 1942. He attained rank of Master Sgt. and was stationed at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. He graduated from Geneva College, Beaver Falls, PA in 1947 and received his masters from the University of Pittsburgh. He married Frances Pearl Hughes, his wife of 60 years, in 1947. He was in public education for 30 years beginning his teaching career at South Heights, PA, then teaching at the Lutheran Children's Home in Zelienople, PA. He was then the principal at Connoquenessing Valley Elementary School for 20 years in Zelienople, PA. In 1981 he and his wife moved to Orlando, FL where they lived for 14 years. The last 12 years they lived at the Good Samaritan Village in Kissimmee, FL. Latham was involved with lay preaching and music his entire adult life. Latham is survived by his wife, Frances Hughes Fitch of DeLand, FL; one son, R. Neal Fitch (and wife Janet Fitch) of Tallahassee, Fl., two grandchildren, Michael N. Laura was a retired Life Insurance Agent for the Certified & Cross Insurance Agency in Clearwater, FL. She is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years Jerry S. 3016 Laura S. Garrett, 89, of Sanford, Florida, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial, Orange City, Florida. She was born in Sanford, Florida, January 3, 1923 to early Sanford celery farmers, Otto and Hester Geer Schmehl.
A lifetime resident of Sanford and Daytona Beach she was a 1940 graduate of Seabreeze High School, Daytona Beach, and attended Florida State College for Women. She and her late husband, Joe owned and operated Garretts Department Store in downtown Sanford for 50 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Mary.
Laura was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Garrett; sisters, Mary Straub, Lois Butner, Julia Neilson and her grandson, Joshua Garrett.
She is survived by 1 son, Otto (Pam) Garrett of Sanford; 1 daughter, Laura Jo(Jerry) Schwalm of Deltona; 1 grand-daughter, Sara Garrett and her mother, Myriam of Sanford and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside funeral services will be 11 A.M. , Saturday June 2, 2012 at Evergreen Cemetery, 1975 W. 25th St., Sanford with Rev. Hugh Lackey officiating. 3017 Laurier Wilfred "Biz" Bissonnette died peacefully at the Mount Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, VT on January 26, 2008 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Claremont, NH on April 11, 1923 the son of Wilfred and Eva (Collins) Bissonnette.

He was a resident of Weathersfield, VT for the past 37 years, formerly a resident of Claremont for 47 years. He was a graduate of Stevens High School in the Class of 1942
and served in the Merchant Marines from 1943 to 1945.

He married Mae Belle Putnam on May 31, 1943 in Claremont. She pre-deceased him January 27, 1969.

He later married Beth Hayward Kidder on September 27, 1970 in Weathersfield, VT.

He worked for Bryant Chuck and Grinder Corp. in Springfield from 1953 to 1963 and for twenty years as a design engineer for Vermont Research Corporation in Springfield, retiring in 1983.

Biz had many interest and hobbies. He was a ham radio operator (W1USB). He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes and loved to cook.

For several years he co-owned a 92 foot two-mast schooner, Homer Dixon, and loved to sail on Lake Champlain. He was a fine wood craftsman building kitchen cabinets, furniture, a 6-ft. kayak, and toys for his children and for church bazaars. He was a gifted musician. He played trumpet for 45 years, turning professional after his return from WW II. He was a member of Yacht Club Orchestra and several local bands. He was always proud of a telegram that he received in August of 1946 from famous big band leader Harry James inviting him to audition for the Harry James Orchestra in New York City. He declined the invitation, opting instead to remain in Claremont with his family. In 1969, he learned to play the flute under the tutelage of flutist Louis Moyse. He studied jazz theory and was a former member of the Hanover Flute Choir and, in recent years, was a member of the Bob Brown Jazz Band. He also taught flute locally.

Biz was a very active member of the Ascutney Union Church for 36 years and served in many capacities including as Deacon and member of the Music Committee. He worked on church suppers, Men's Breakfasts, sang in the choir, played the flute for services and assisted with services at the Cedar Hill Nursing Facility in Windsor, VT.

He is survived by his wife, Beth Kidder Bissonnette of Windsor, VT; one daughter, Janice E. Heighes and her husband William of Claremont; one son, Richard A. Phoenix - 86, died Friday November 29, 2019 in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was born March 10, 1933 in Racine, WI to Clarence and Bertha Dunn.
Claire moved to Phoenix in 1955 with her husband of 65 years, John. She worked at First National Bank as a teller in the late 50's and early 60's "Pushing her Husband" through College. In the late 70's she became a docent for the Heard Museum in downtown Phoenix and a tour guide for "Winter" visitors in Arizona. Claire knew Arizona History inside and out, loved learning about the Native American Cultures and telling the history of Arizona.
Claire enjoyed traveling the world, spending her summers in Flagstaff, AZ and eleven years living in Prescott, AZ. She valued and cherished all the many friends made along the way. She loved her family dearly, along with old movies and reading.
Claire is survived by her husband John, and daughter Carol, many special nephews, nieces, a wonderful family, and friends. Claire was preceded in death by her brother Jerome Dunn and Sister Sheila Bohlender.
Services will be officiated by, her sister's eldest son and special nephew, Steven Willis on Saturday, December 14, 2019. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, and the Service will follow at 11:00 am at Greenwood Memory Lawn, Serenity Chapel, 719 North 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009. Graveside to follow services at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.

3024 LCDR Warren W. Seekell, USN (Ret.), 83, Narragansett, passed away Saturday. He was the husband of Ruth (Williams) Seekell for sixty-three years.
Born in Hyannis, MA, he was the son of the late George B. and Jessie E. (Pierce) Seekell of Taunton, MA.
LCDR Seekell enlisted in the Navy Combat Air Crew training program in December 1944. After promotions to Chief Petty Officer, he was commissioned an Ensign and retired as LCDR in 1974. He was a specialist in Air Anti-Submarine Warfare and Air Intelligence. After military retirement, CDR Seekell attended URI, graduating in 1979 with a degree in music. He was organist and choir director at Calvary Bible Church, Narragansett for many years and taught piano privately.
In addition to his wife, he leaves five children, Carolyn Cunningham, Wayne, Roger, Audrey Saint and Philip; twenty?three grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.
The funeral was held Friday in Calvary Bible Church, 3 Narragansett. Burial with military honors followed in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

3025 Lee Banning Beebe, born Oct. 22, 1950, peacefully departed this life on Dec. 11, 2013, after a long and heroic battle with cancer. Lee was a master home builder, professional skier, musician and avid hockey player, but his greatest joy in life was his family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Marie (Sperrazza) Beebe and Monroe Beebe, longtime residents of Old Lyme, Conn. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mimi Beebe of Las Vegas, Nev., a real estate professional; son, Brandon Beebe, a film major, creative director, and event promoter; daughter, Sofia Lingos-Papaliodis, an attorney in Boston, Mass., married to George Papaliodis; brother, Jonathan Beebe of Bozrah, Conn.; his nephew, Joshua, married to Susan Beebe, and children, Samuel and William of Bozrah, Conn.; nephew, Jeremy married to Elizabeth Beebe and their daughter, Summer Beebe, of Ledyard, Conn.; and two wolves (other sons), Balto and Blaze.
Lee attended Boston University before moving to Switzerland to ski the Alps. He subsequently moved to Park City, Utah, where he was instrumental in the downhill skiing industry and maintained his mountain home. He founded his company McBee Construction in Las Vegas, Nev., and built custom homes for many of the celebrities who reside in the area. He was a health and fitness aficionado, and until the end, you could find him on the ice playing hockey beside his son, Brandon, a collegiate hockey player.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at the Old Lyme Congregational Church, 2 Ferry Road, Old Lyme, with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Serenity Gathering, a project that Lee supported with his wife and son. May his memory be eternal.

3026 Lee Wyman Banning, 91, a lifetime resident of Greenfield, died on Sunday, June 19, 2016 peacefully at home.
He was born on November 3, 1924 in Greenfield, to the late Wyman H. Banning and Nyra J. (Hall) Banning. Lee was predeceased by a sister, Florence (Banning) Smith who died in August of 1983.
Lee graduated from Greenfield High School in 1942. He served in the Army ASTP at Heidelberg College before joining the 102nd 406th Infantry Regiment. He served overseas in Rhineland, Central Europe. He received the American Theater Campaign Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Victory Medal, The European African Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon and the Purple Heart Combat Infantry Badge.
After honorable discharge from the Army in 1946, Lee worked at the Montague Rod and Reel for two years. He then went to work for the Greenfield Post Office for 38 years where he became supervisor in charge. After retiring from the Post Office, he later worked in the shipping department at the Channing L. Bete Company for a "great seven years." He retired from that job in 1991.
In 1949, Lee built a home in Greenfield, which became his lifelong residence. Lee was married to Bernice Pollard on February 22, 1947 and they enjoyed "63 special years together." Bernice died on February 23, 2010.
Lee attended and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greenfield for 74 years. He is survived by his children: Brian and his wife Janet of Greenfield, Alan and his wife Cyndi (Drew) of Turners Falls, and Jennifer (Banning) Cullen and her husband Jim of Greenfield. He is also survived by 6 loving grandchildren: Rachel, Emma and Casey Banning, Megan Cullen, Robert Banning, Susan Brooks and her husband Michael along with one great-grandchild: Michael (Mikey) Brooks. Lee also leaves many wonderful friends, especially his dear friend and companion Dolores Harvey.
Lee enjoyed family gatherings, going out to eat and playing cards with friends, working around the yard, and watching New England sporting events. He was a big fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and The Celtics. He was a loving father, brother, son, husband, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Private Graveside services will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. Lee's family would like to thank O'Connell Care at home and Hospice of Franklin County for their excellent care, support, and friendship. Walker Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

3039 Leland Harding Reynolds, 93, of Lyme died peacefully at his home on Tuesday (May 10, 2005) surrounded by family. He was born on December 13, 1911 in a small apartment located in the ell of the carriage business which was founded by his grandfather in the center of the village of Hamburg, CT. He was proud to have lived his whole life there in the heart of the village and to have lived to see his children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren settle in Lyme. He was predeceased by his wife, Laura in 1986 after 45 years of marriage. He was a charter member and past chief of the Lyme Fire Company and founder and life member of the Hamburg Cove Yacht Club. He was a 50 year member of the Pythagorus Lodge of Masons in Old Lyme and was, at the time of his death, the oldest member of the Lyme-Old Lyme Chamber of Commerce. He was active in many town committees during his life. Mr. Reynolds was proprietor of Reynolds' Garage and Marine, Inc. from 1940 until he retired in 1976, after which time he took on Rover, Land-Rover and Peugeot dealerships. He was a life-long yachtsman, cruising the water of Long Island Sound and beyond. He nurtured that love of boating and the water in all his children and grandchildren. His last few years were spent enjoying the daily flow of life on his beloved Hamburg Cove, with regular visits from his grandchildren, family and friends. He is survived by his son, Gary H. Reynolds and daughter, Carleen R. Gerber and their spouses, Marilynn Reynolds and Don Gerber; grandchildren, L. Thomas Reynolds, G. Hayden Reynolds, Kathryn Wayland, Lauren Paterson, Allison Hine and Emily Gerber; and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Doris Jewett of Lyme and Donna Speirs of Old Lyme. He was predeceased by a sister, Carol Dunham. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, at the First Congregational Church of Lyme in Hamburg, with a reception in his honor to follow at the Lyme Fire Dept., Route 156, Hamburg. 3040 Leland L. Clark, age 84, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Steuben Co. Health Care Fac. in Bath.
Leland was born February 25, 1929 in Cohocton, a son of Wardner & Alice (Wheaton) Clark. He was a graduate of Cohocton High School. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. Leland married Lois Wilson on May 13, 1952; she survives.
Leland was a former machinist at Gleason Works in Rochester.
He was a member and past commander of the Cohocton American Legion Post. He enjoyed John Deere Tractors and mowing lawns.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lois; his siblings, Arthur (Cecelia) Clark, Beatrice Beamish, Lydia Hagadone and Dewitt (Emily) Clark; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by 2 brothers, Elmond & Erie Clark.
Friends may call 2-4 pm Friday at the Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home, 300 West Naples St., Wayland, where funeral services with full military honors will follow at 4 pm. Burial will be in the Village Cemetery, Wayland.

3042 Lemuel Nelson Bolles, son of Nelson and Emeline (Putnum) Bolles, was born in Cambridgeport, Vermont, April 7, 1849, and died in Amherst, Massachusetts, December 28, 1891. He came to Amherst, Massachusetts, in 1876, and was in the meat and grocery business until his death. He was a member of the Improved Order of Red Men, and of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He married, in February, 1874, Emeline A. Banning, of East Hartford, Connecticut, daughter of Erastus M. and Almira (Hall) Banning. Children: Ernest Moore; Edward, who died young; Jessie, who died young; and Grace, who married Willis Fay, of Amherst, Massachusetts.

3043 Leo James Blanck age 84 passed away Wednesday November 21, 2012 in Battle Creek following a long illness. He was born March 25, 1928 to Aaron James Blanck and Inis Blanche Brooks in Battle Creek and was a 1946 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. He served his country during WWII in the United States Navy from 1946-47 aboard the USS Pickaway and USS Washburn and was employed as an institutional food broker for most of his adult life. On December 6, 1975 he was married in the First Congregational Church in Battle Creek to Jean Marie Reynolds who survives. He was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church in Battle Creek and the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Reed City where he volunteered his time and talents in various positions. He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed travel, playing cards, and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and the Osceola County Food Pantry.
He is survived by his wife Jean Marie Blanck of Battle Creek, son Jonathon (Mary) Blanck of Merced, CA, daughter Kimberly (Ken) Blanck of Novato, CA, stepdaughters Sandy (Jim) Denzel of Milpitas, CA and Kathy (Randy) Crandall of Mendon, stepson Mike (Jan) Reynolds of Hastings, 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Aaron and Inis Blanck, and his first wife Corrinne Owen Blanck.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday November 27, 2012 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Reed City with Rev. Dawn Pooley officiating. A funeral service will also be held 12:00 P.M. It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one, Leona Emma Valliant, on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000 at the age of 84 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. She was born June 14, 1915 in Crozier, Ont. to the late Joe and Louise Zigo, and received her schooling in Fort Frances. Leona was united in marriage March 2, 1934 to Hugh Valliant, who predeceased her May 15, 1970. Leona worked in many jobs, including the insurance business for many years with her husband, as co-owner and operator of the Nestor Falls Hotel, and in Pembroke, Ont. as a hostess and cashier before retiring to live with her brother in Atikokan, Ont. in 1976. She moved back to Fort Frances in 1994, residing in Columbus Place (425 Nelson St.) Until recently, Leona liked to read, and enjoyed pets, cats, or dogs. Leona is survived by her son, Ron, and daughter-in-law, Doris; granddaughter, Lee and husband, Gordon Shrumm, and great-granddaughter, Pamela Shrumm, all of Nestor Falls, Ont. She also is survived by her brother, Carl, and wife, Helen, of Sebeca, Mn.; sister, Betty McPherson of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister-in-law, Julie Covell of Ear Falls, Ont.; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Henry, Stan, Harry, and Clifford. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2000 at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances. 3045 Leona M. Allaben, 37, of Danville died 11:25 p.m. July 13, 1996, at Danville Care Center South
in Danville, Illinois. She was a homemaker. She was born January 24, 1959, in Pontiac, a
daughter of Wesley F. and Virginia (Haley) Lemay.
Graveside services will be 1 pm Tuesday at Hopewell Cemetery with Rev. Everett Lemay officiating.
No public visitation will be held, and those attending the graveside services are asked to go
directly to the cemetery on Tuesday afternoon. The Hughey Funeral Home is in charge of the services.
She is survived by a son Jason Allaben of Pekin, Indiana; daughter, Sarah Allaben, Pekin,
Indiana; sisters, Glenda Winn of Danville and Linda Dunthorn and husband David of Knoxville,
Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Nazarene faith. She was
preceded in death by her parents

3046 Leona M. Bailey, 77, died Oct. 12, 1999 at a local hospital. She retired from Western Forge and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Bailey was born May 8, 1922, in Cherokee, Iowa. She was married Nov. 17, 1946, to Ralph B. Bailey.
She is survivied by her husband; two sons, Mark E. and Marvin D.; two daughters, Cindy Beasley and Jodi R. Leonard; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road.

3047 Leonard Earl Munro Born: April 21st, 1915
Leonard Earl Munro, born in Duval, SK April 21, 1915. Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife of 69 years Isabel. His children Gary (Gladys) Munro of Calgary, AB; Anne (Keith) James of Prince Albert, SK. His grandchildren Debbie (Wally) Niblett of Edmonton, AB; Cheryl (Fabian) Rush of Edmonton, AB; Robert (Shannon) James of Sherwood Park, AB; Tyler (Michelle) James of Edmonton, AB; Andrew (Kristi) James of Saskatoon, SK. His Great Grandchildren Amanda & Kerri Niblett, Alex & Samantha Rush, Keisha & Cole James and Jessica & Nicole James. His sister Jen Hanson of Calgary, AB. Len was pre-deceased by his father Jacob, mother Ester and brothers James and Orville. Len moved to Prince Albert in 1937 and married Isabel McComb in 1938. He and his father opened J. Munro & Sons Implements Ltd. selling Case machinery. In 1952 they took on the Studebaker dealership until 1966 when they owned the Datson Franchise, later to be known as Munro Nissan Ltd. Len and Isabel enjoyed the 40's, 50's and 60's at their shack tent in Waskesiu moving to Candle Lake in 1968, where they spent many enjoyable hours playing cards with their friends. Len was active in the Cosmopolitan Club of Prince Albert. He was a loyal Raider fan, listening to every game when he was unable to attend. Len spent his last two years in Pineview Terrace Lodge where he received kind and loving care. Len will be remembered by his family for his unconditional love and support. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 130 - 9th St. East, 306-763-8488. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Pineview Family Auxiliary.

3048 Leonard Hazlewood was hit by a shell while in the trenches. Badly wounded in the chest, he died while being taken to the dressing station by stretcher. The Hazlewoods were a prominent local family. Leonard's brother Rex was an official photographer during the war. 3049 Leonard L. Mullen, age 84, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas. Leonard was born December 25, 1928 at the family homestead in Cheyenne County, Colorado, the son of Phillip M & Lottie Kellogg Mullen. A resident of Leoti since 1956 moving from the Kit Carson County, Colorado area, he was a cowboy and owner/operator of Mullen Boot & Shoe Repair in Leoti, Kansas. Leonard was a veteran of the United States Army.

Leonard was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Leoti, Kansas on which he served on the Building & Grounds committee. He was also a member of the Leoti Rodeo Association, a Charter member of the Leoti VFW, and the American Legion in Topeka, Kansas.

On December 29, 1951 he married A. Sharon Linder at Raton, New Mexico.

The family will conduct memorial services at 1:30 pm Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church in Leoti, Kansas with the Reverend Charles Ayers officiating. Inurnment will be in Beulah Cemetery with military honors provided by the Leoti VFW.

3050 Leonard Paul Maynard (Lenny, Big Len, Big Papa) 70, of Dayville, CT died Tuesday August 23, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. Len was born in Middletown, CT on March 5, 1941 son of Alice Maynard and the late Marvin Maynard. He was the husband of Barbara (Codding) Maynard. They were married in Foxboro, MA, November 7, 1964. Len graduated from Bacon Academy of Colchester, CT in 1959 and the University of CT, college of Agriculture in 1964 where he served in the army reserves for six years. He was also president of his fraternity, Alpha Gamma Rho. He worked for over thirty years in the restaurant industry beginning with Brock Hill Dairy 1964-1970, owner of Bosworth Farm Dairy and owner of Maygold Farms Ice Cream plant and six restaurants throughout CT and Mass. After his retirement from the restaurant business, he began working at Nissan of Norwich in 2004 where he received multiple accolades including "salesman of the century". He was involved with the Elks Club of Danielson, Past Exhaulted Ruler 1978-1979 and Chairman of various charities relating to the Elks. He also served as President of New England Ice Cream Restaurant Association, Chairman and host of the annual Maynard 4th of July celebration. He is survived by his mother Alice Maynard, wife Barbara and four children, Amanda Zadora, Samantha Maloney, Leonard "Patrick" Maynard and Megan Crescimanno; special daughter Katie Quigley, son in laws Shawn Zadora and Steven Crescimanno and daughter in law Naomi Carretta. Grandchildren Jacob and Riley Zadora, Caden and Landen Maloney and Bryce Maynard as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by son Kevin Thomas Maynard, father Marvin Maynard, sister Jean Moroch and foster brother Paul Sarrette. Lenny loved to say, "Go Big or Go Home" and that is exactly how he lived his life. The lives he touched are insurmountable. He and his wife Barbara (Babs) had a standing open door policy for all friends and family. He will be missed tremendously.
