3106 Leigh Ouellette December 28, 1947 - February 24, 2015 passed away on 24 February 2015 at the age of 67. He was the son of the late Lucien Ouellette and fire Unice Pearson. He is survived by his wife Diane Frederick, his son Keith (Kim Sirois), her grandchildren: Vanessa, Noah and Emile, his brother Paul and his sisters Yvette (late Ernest Leclair), Jeannette (Keith Coulter) and his brothers-sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins ??(s) and good friends. He was predeceased by his brothers Ernest and Gene. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 11 am 00 in the church Our Lady of Victory in Gatineau (Buckingham). The family will be present 45 minutes before the service to receive your condolences. 3108 Leland Harding Reynolds, 93, of Lyme died peacefully at his home on Tuesday (May 10, 2005) surrounded by family. He was born on December 13, 1911 in a small apartment located in the ell of the carriage business which was founded by his grandfather in the center of the village of Hamburg, CT. He was proud to have lived his whole life there in the heart of the village and to have lived to see his children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren settle in Lyme. He was predeceased by his wife, Laura in 1986 after 45 years of marriage. He was a charter member and past chief of the Lyme Fire Company and founder and life member of the Hamburg Cove Yacht Club. He was a 50 year member of the Pythagorus Lodge of Masons in Old Lyme and was, at the time of his death, the oldest member of the Lyme-Old Lyme Chamber of Commerce. He was active in many town committees during his life. Mr. Reynolds was proprietor of Reynolds' Garage and Marine, Inc. from 1940 until he retired in 1976, after which time he took on Rover, Land-Rover and Peugeot dealerships. He was a life-long yachtsman, cruising the water of Long Island Sound and beyond. He nurtured that love of boating and the water in all his children and grandchildren. His last few years were spent enjoying the daily flow of life on his beloved Hamburg Cove, with regular visits from his grandchildren, family and friends. He is survived by his son, Gary H. Reynolds and daughter, Carleen R. Gerber and their spouses, Marilynn Reynolds and Don Gerber; grandchildren, L. Thomas Reynolds, G. Hayden Reynolds, Kathryn Wayland, Lauren Paterson, Allison Hine and Emily Gerber; and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Doris Jewett of Lyme and Donna Speirs of Old Lyme. He was predeceased by a sister, Carol Dunham. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, at the First Congregational Church of Lyme in Hamburg, with a reception in his honor to follow at the Lyme Fire Dept., Route 156, Hamburg. People are welcome to attend either or both events. Donations may be made in his memory to the North Lyme Cemetery Association, c/o Ken Plimpton, 26 Sterling City Rd., Lyme, CT 06371 or a charity of the donor's choice.

3109 Leland L. Clark, age 84, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Steuben Co. Health Care Fac. in Bath.
Leland was born February 25, 1929 in Cohocton, a son of Wardner & Alice (Wheaton) Clark. He was a graduate of Cohocton High School. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. Leland married Lois Wilson on May 13, 1952; she survives.
Leland was a former machinist at Gleason Works in Rochester.
He was a member and past commander of the Cohocton American Legion Post. He enjoyed John Deere Tractors and mowing lawns.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lois; his siblings, Arthur (Cecelia) Clark, Beatrice Beamish, Lydia Hagadone and Dewitt (Emily) Clark; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by 2 brothers, Elmond & Erie Clark.
Friends may call 2-4 pm Friday at the Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home, 300 West Naples St., Wayland, where funeral services with full military honors will follow at 4 pm. Burial will be in the Village Cemetery, Wayland.

3110 Leland Leroy Hill was born to Gertrude Alma (Moore) Hill and Alan Asberry Hill in Los Angelos, CA.
Joined the Navy and Married Gladys Kiser Feb 2, 1952 in Japan.
They moved to Fresno 1955, bought a home, and he joined the Fresno Fire Dept in 1960. He retired as Fire Chief of the City of Fresno in 1982.

3111 Lemuel Nelson Bolles, son of Nelson and Emeline (Putnum) Bolles, was born in Cambridgeport, Vermont, April 7, 1849, and died in Amherst, Massachusetts, December 28, 1891. He came to Amherst, Massachusetts, in 1876, and was in the meat and grocery business until his death. He was a member of the Improved Order of Red Men, and of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He married, in February, 1874, Emeline A. Banning, of East Hartford, Connecticut, daughter of Erastus M. and Almira (Hall) Banning. Children: Ernest Moore; Edward, who died young; Jessie, who died young; and Grace, who married Willis Fay, of Amherst, Massachusetts.

3112 Leo James Blanck age 84 passed away Wednesday November 21, 2012 in Battle Creek following a long illness. He was born March 25, 1928 to Aaron James Blanck and Inis Blanche Brooks in Battle Creek and was a 1946 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. He served his country during WWII in the United States Navy from 1946-47 aboard the USS Pickaway and USS Washburn and was employed as an institutional food broker for most of his adult life. On December 6, 1975 he was married in the First Congregational Church in Battle Creek to Jean Marie Reynolds who survives. He was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church in Battle Creek and the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Reed City where he volunteered his time and talents in various positions. He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed travel, playing cards, and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and the Osceola County Food Pantry.
He is survived by his wife Jean Marie Blanck of Battle Creek, son Jonathon (Mary) Blanck of Merced, CA, daughter Kimberly (Ken) Blanck of Novato, CA, stepdaughters Sandy (Jim) Denzel of Milpitas, CA and Kathy (Randy) Crandall of Mendon, stepson Mike (Jan) Reynolds of Hastings, 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Aaron and Inis Blanck, and his first wife Corrinne Owen Blanck.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday November 27, 2012 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Reed City with Rev. Dawn Pooley officiating. A funeral service will also be held 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the First Congregational Church in Battle Creek with Rev. Thomas Ott officiating. Burial will be at the Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made in his name to either the Osceola County Food Pantry or Habitat for Humanity and envelopes will be available during visitation Tuesday November 27, 2012 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Reed City from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one, Leona Emma Valliant, on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000 at the age of 84 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. She was born June 14, 1915 in Crozier, Ont. to the late Joe and Louise Zigo, and received her schooling in Fort Frances. Leona was united in marriage March 2, 1934 to Hugh Valliant, who predeceased her May 15, 1970. Leona worked in many jobs, including the insurance business for many years with her husband, as co-owner and operator of the Nestor Falls Hotel, and in Pembroke, Ont. as a hostess and cashier before retiring to live with her brother in Atikokan, Ont. in 1976. She moved back to Fort Frances in 1994, residing in Columbus Place (425 Nelson St.) Until recently, Leona liked to read, and enjoyed pets, cats, or dogs. Leona is survived by her son, Ron, and daughter-in-law, Doris; granddaughter, Lee and husband, Gordon Shrumm, and great-granddaughter, Pamela Shrumm, all of Nestor Falls, Ont. She also is survived by her brother, Carl, and wife, Helen, of Sebeca, Mn.; sister, Betty McPherson of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister-in-law, Julie Covell of Ear Falls, Ont.; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Henry, Stan, Harry, and Clifford. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2000 at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances. Interment will take place at a later date in the Norman D. Cottam Memorial Gardens in Nestor Falls. In memoriam donations may be made to the Continuing Care Unit at La Verendrye General Hospital, 110 Victoria Ave., Fort Frances, Ont., or to a charity of your choice.

3114 Leona M. Allaben, 37, of Danville died 11:25 p.m. July 13, 1996, at Danville Care Center South
in Danville, Illinois. She was a homemaker. She was born January 24, 1959, in Pontiac, a
daughter of Wesley F. and Virginia (Haley) Lemay.
Graveside services will be 1 pm Tuesday at Hopewell Cemetery with Rev. Everett Lemay officiating.
No public visitation will be held, and those attending the graveside services are asked to go
directly to the cemetery on Tuesday afternoon. The Hughey Funeral Home is in charge of the services.
She is survived by a son Jason Allaben of Pekin, Indiana; daughter, Sarah Allaben, Pekin,
Indiana; sisters, Glenda Winn of Danville and Linda Dunthorn and husband David of Knoxville,
Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Nazarene faith. She was
preceded in death by her parents

3115 Leona M. Bailey, 77, died Oct. 12, 1999 at a local hospital. She retired from Western Forge and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Bailey was born May 8, 1922, in Cherokee, Iowa. She was married Nov. 17, 1946, to Ralph B. Bailey.
She is survivied by her husband; two sons, Mark E. and Marvin D.; two daughters, Cindy Beasley and Jodi R. Leonard; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road.

Leonard Earl Munro, born in Duval, SK April 21, 1915. Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife of 69 years Isabel. His children Gary (Gladys) Munro of Calgary, AB; Anne (Keith) James of Prince Albert, SK. His grandchildren Debbie (Wally) Niblett of Edmonton, AB; Cheryl (Fabian) Rush of Edmonton, AB; Robert (Shannon) James of Sherwood Park, AB; Tyler (Michelle) James of Edmonton, AB; Andrew (Kristi) James of Saskatoon, SK. His Great Grandchildren Amanda & Kerri Niblett, Alex & Samantha Rush, Keisha & Cole James and Jessica & Nicole James. His sister Jen Hanson of Calgary, AB. Len was pre-deceased by his father Jacob, mother Ester and brothers James and Orville. Len moved to Prince Albert in 1937 and married Isabel McComb in 1938. He and his father opened J. Munro & Sons Implements Ltd. selling Case machinery. In 1952 they took on the Studebaker dealership until 1966 when they owned the Datson Franchise, later to be known as Munro Nissan Ltd. Len and Isabel enjoyed the 40's, 50's and 60's at their shack tent in Waskesiu moving to Candle Lake in 1968, where they spent many enjoyable hours playing cards with their friends. Len was active in the Cosmopolitan Club of Prince Albert. He was a loyal Raider fan, listening to every game when he was unable to attend. Len spent his last two years in Pineview Terrace Lodge where he received kind and loving care. Len will be remembered by his family for his unconditional love and support. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 130 - 9th St. East, 306-763-8488. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Pineview Family Auxiliary.

3117 Leonard Hazlewood was hit by a shell while in the trenches. Badly wounded in the chest, he died while being taken to the dressing station by stretcher. The Hazlewoods were a prominent local family. Leonard's brother Rex was an official photographer during the war. 3118 Leonard L. Mullen, age 84, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas. Leonard was born December 25, 1928 at the family homestead in Cheyenne County, Colorado, the son of Phillip M & Lottie Kellogg Mullen. A resident of Leoti since 1956 moving from the Kit Carson County, Colorado area, he was a cowboy and owner/operator of Mullen Boot & Shoe Repair in Leoti, Kansas. Leonard was a veteran of the United States Army.

Leonard was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Leoti, Kansas on which he served on the Building & Grounds committee. He was also a member of the Leoti Rodeo Association, a Charter member of the Leoti VFW, and the American Legion in Topeka, Kansas.

On December 29, 1951 he married A. Sharon Linder at Raton, New Mexico.

3119 Leonard Paul Maynard (Lenny, Big Len, Big Papa) 70, of Dayville, CT died Tuesday August 23, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. Len was born in Middletown, CT on March 5, 1941 son of Alice Maynard and the late Marvin Maynard. He was the husband of Barbara (Codding) Maynard. They were married in Foxboro, MA, November 7, 1964. Len graduated from Bacon Academy of Colchester, CT in 1959 and the University of CT, college of Agriculture in 1964 where he served in the army reserves for six years. He was also president of his fraternity, Alpha Gamma Rho. He worked for over thirty years in the restaurant industry beginning with Brock Hill Dairy 1964-1970, owner of Bosworth Farm Dairy and owner of Maygold Farms Ice Cream plant and six restaurants throughout CT and Mass. After his retirement from the restaurant business, he began working at Nissan of Norwich in 2004 where he received multiple accolades including "salesman of the century". He was involved with the Elks Club of Danielson, Past Exhaulted Ruler 1978-1979 and Chairman of various charities relating to the Elks. He also served as President of New England Ice Cream Restaurant Association, Chairman and host of the annual Maynard 4th of July celebration. He is survived by his mother Alice Maynard, wife Barbara and four children, Amanda Zadora, Samantha Maloney, Leonard "Patrick" Maynard and Megan Crescimanno; special daughter Katie Quigley, son in laws Shawn Zadora and Steven Crescimanno and daughter in law Naomi Carretta. Grandchildren Jacob and Riley Zadora, Caden and Landen Maloney and Bryce Maynard as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by son Kevin Thomas Maynard, father Marvin Maynard, sister Jean Moroch and foster brother Paul Sarrette. Lenny loved to say, "Go Big or Go Home" and that is exactly how he lived his life. The lives he touched are insurmountable. He and his wife Barbara (Babs) had a standing open door policy for all friends and family. He will be missed tremendously. 3120 Leotta M. Banning, 77, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., died Sunday, July 15, 2001 at her residence.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Friday, July 20 at Masonic Cemetery in Mount Pleasant under the direction of Bates-Cooper Funeral Home. The Rev. Steve Newton officiate.
Mrs. Banning was born March 29, 1924 in Upshur County. She taught many years for the Dallas Independent School District.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Banning of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; son and daughter-in-law, Powell and Candace Banning of Grapevine; daughter, Jeannie Banning of Carbondale, Ill.; granddaughters, Elizabeth Banning, Megan Banning, both of Grapevine and Kristin Banning of Carbon.
Memorial contributions may be made to Village United Methodist Church of Hot Springs Village, Ark., or Shrine Hospital for children.

3121 Leroy "Lee" Perry Lapeer Leroy "Lee" Perry, 69, of Lapeer, passed away Saturday (October 29, 2005). He was born August 31, 1936, in Sanilac County, to Vernon and Olive (Sanderson) Perry. He married Lois L. Kerbyson on August 27, 1955 in Croswell. Mr. Perry worked for Buick Motors-Flint in transmission assembly. He is survived by his children, Michael (Yolanda) Perry of Florida, Linda (Scott) Winegardner of Lansing, Patricia (Robert) Travis of Tennessee, Daniel (Ruth) Perry of California; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Don (Jean) Perry of Port Huron and Verna Thompson of Sandusky. 3123 LeRoy E. Banning, 87, of Bradway Road, Stafford Springs, died Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at home. He was the widower of the late Mildred M. (Yurczak) Banning, who died on December 20, 1993.
LeRoy was born in Stafford Springs, the son of the late Frank and Nellie (Marsdale) Banning. He was a retired mill wright at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford, and a member of St. Edward Parish.
LeRoy is survived by 2 sons, David L. Banning of Enfield, D. Richard Banning of Mena, Ark.; 2 daughters, Joyce Banning Dix of Holland, Mass., Sharon Banning Greika of Stafford Springs; 7 grandchildren, Natalie Dix, Kristie Katkavich, Luke Greika, Hillary Greika, Sean Banning, Stacy Banning, Roseanne Petitto; 7 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Marsha Mather of Vermont, Grace Baker of California; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral will be held Thursday, July 7, 2005, with a procession forming at 9 a.m. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main Street, Stafford Springs, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Edward Church, High Street, Stafford Springs. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs.

3124 Leroy Fitch Hubbard passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the Arlington Nursing Home in Long Grove. He was born May 2, 1929, the son of the late Herschel and Hazel Hubbard of Downers Grove.
A graduate of Downers Grove High School and James Millikin University, he served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean conflict.
He is survived by son Kevin Hubbard of Lombard and daughter April Mrozek (Mike) of Lombard as well as grandchildren Jerico Hubbard and Samantha and Angela Mrozek. Surviving siblings are sisters Florence (Joseph) Babos of Fox River Grove, Helen (Jack) Martin of Arlington Heights, and Sharon (late Jerry) Tannenbaum of Plainfield and brothers William (Kaye) Hubbard of Aurora and Raymond (Rose) Hubbard of Ferryville, Wisconsin. He leaves thirteen nieces and nephews and twenty grandnieces and grandnephews, and is mourned by dear friends Michelle McDonough (William) of Bloomingdale; and Karina Ottolino (Rocco) of Hanover Park.
Plans for a private memorial service are pending.

3125 Leslie Arthur Knight, age 89, went to be with his Lord, Monday, November 28, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Glynna Knight parents Edson and Bertha Knight.
He will be remembered by his children L. James (Janet) Knight, Marvin (Barbara) Knight, Lonnie Knight, Karen (Steve) Zwyghuizen; brothers Lyle Knight, Leo Knight, Loren Knight, Lawrence Knight, Leonard Knight; sisters Louella Hamblin, Laverna Albrecht; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law Millie Knight; many nieces and nephews.
Les retired from General Motors after 45 years. He was a long-time member and deacon of Maple Hill United Brethren Church. Les loved Tigers baseball, bowling, gardening and yard work. When he was younger he used to build houses with his brother Loren and continued his love of wood by making many projects for family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5-8PM Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building) 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Friday, December 2, 2016 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building). Interment will be at Floral View Memorial Gardens.

3126 Leslie Glascock Stetson, 37, died March 6, 1996, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Stetson was born in Richmond, Virginia. Mrs. Stetson was a graduate of Hollis College class of 1981.
Survivors include her mother, Marietta Carr Glascock ; two sisters, Kinney Reed Glascock and her husband Adam R. Brown, and Mary Todd Glascock and her husband Lionel Charuau; and her nephew, Henri Charuau; and her grandmother, Natalie Ayerst Carr, all of Virginia Beach.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Simons's Episcopal Church Sandbridge by Rev. John H. Jordan. 3127 Leslie J. Dale - A retired farmer of the Cumberland district, Leslie James Dale, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. John Shorkey, Cumberland, on Monday, following a brief illness. He was in his 60th year.
A life-long resident of Cumberland and a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Dale, he received his education in local schools, and had farmed in the district up until his retirement a few years ago. His sole survivor is a sister, Mrs. Shorkey of Cumberland.
The funeral service will be conducted at the home of his sister on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Dale's Cemetery.

3128 LESLIE JOHNNIE TEUTON, 81, of Hedgesville, died Friday, July 3, 1998, at Heartland of Martinsburg, Martinsburg, W.Va. Born April 29, 1917, in Burbank, Fla., he was the son of the late Charles and Alice Pictorial Robinson Teuton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Ruth Teuton, in 1994.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. He was in the reserves for 12 years, retiring as a chief petty officer. He owned and operated Gaithersburg TV and Radio Service for 34 years.
He is survived by four daughters, Dorothy Lee Martin of Jefferson, Md., Carol Ann Peake of Columbia, S.C., Susan Jane Trent of Point of Rocks, Md., and Judith May Trexler of Hedgesville; two sons, James Joseph Teuton of Terrell, Texas, and Charles Raymond Teuton of Yorktown, Va.; a brother, Hugh Teuton of Ocala, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; agreat-great-grandchild; several stepgrandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Leslie J. Teuton Jr.
Services were held at Minnich Funeral Home, Hagerstown; burial was in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park; military graveside services were conducted by Morris Frock American Legion Post 42.

3129 Lester Banning, a longtime resident of Del City and Pastor of Del Haven Tabernacle in Del City for 37 years passed away August 16, 2012. Lester was born June 7, 1920 to Frank and Myrtle (Bartholomew) Banning in Cleveland County, Oklahoma. He married Juanita Shelton, January 29, 1941 and they had three children, Betty, Tom and John. Lester was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Myrtle and his two brothers, Harvey and Leo.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Juanita, his sister, Mae Mitchell and husband, Bill, his daughter, Betty Rogers and husband, Tom, his son, Tom and wife, Wanda, his son, John, and wife, Denise. Lester is also survived by nine grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, one sister-in-law, Dorothy Holmes, and two brothers-in-law, Jack and Mack Shelton.
Lester enjoyed people and sowing in their lives spiritually and materially over the years. His enjoyment was spending time with family, fishing and boating and annual trips to Roaring River and Lake Eufaula with family.

3130 Lester Lee Mullen was born to Clark Albert Mullen and Sarah Augusta Newman in Pilot Grove Township, Montgomery County, Iowa. His brothers and sisters were Florence Lucinda (Shumate), Guy Edgar, Charles Raymond, Phillip Merriss, Howard Ralph, Harold Merritt, Grace Evelyn (Bennett), Lena May (Cheesman) and Loyd Albert. Howard and Lester were not identical twins. He was raised in Montgomery County,Iowa and moved to Kit Carson County, Colorado with his family in 1906. He attended school through the 8th grade. The family moved to Jewell County, Kansas in 1906.

Lester married Eva Myrtle Baldwin on 5 Aug 1915 in Smith Center, Smith County, Kansas. They had two children, Kenneth Lyle Mullen and Maxine Louise Mullen. Lester, Eva and Kenneth moved to South Dakota to a rented farm northwest of Wakonda, Clay County in the late 1910s. Lester worked as a farm laborer. They then moved to Idaho in November 1936; first on rented land in the Grant area north of Idaho Falls in Bonneville County and then purchasing an 160 acre farm in the Goshen area southeast of Shelley in Bingham County. Lester and Eva lived and farmed there with Kenneth, his wife, Marjorie, and their three sons until Lester's death from a heart attack on January 13, 1973 while visiting Maxine and her husband, Alma Robinson, in Soda Springs, Caribou County, Idaho.

Taberg ? Alfred J. Lewis, 54, died Jan 3, 1955 at his home on the Taberg-Florence Rd.
He was born March 19, 1900 in Rome, son of Fred and Elizabeth Pfeiffer Lewis. He married Marian Ballard in Taberg Oct. 12, 1921. He lived in Taberg for the past 30 years. He was a farmer and had worked for 14 years as a meat cutter for his brother in Rome. He was a communicant of St. Patrick?s Church, Taberg, and a member of the Taberg Volunteer Fire Company.
Surviving besides his wife, are two sons, Edgar F., Camden; and Joseph at home; two daughters, Mrs. Edward McNamara, Lowell and Mrs. Harold MacFarland, Rome; 17 grandchildren, a brothers, Willis, Taberg; four sisters; Mrs. John Mathis, Mrs. Raymond Darrow and Mrs. Gaylord Rieck all of Rome and Mrs. Walter Pierie, Ogdensburg; several nieces and nephews.

3136 Lewis D. Banning, Sr., of Manchester, died Tuesday, (March 25, 2003) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of 57 years of Evelyn (Wutsch) Banning. Born in Hartford, son of the late Clinton and Hilda (Vujs) Banning, he was raised in Glastonbury and had resided in Manchester for over 51 years. He was a navy veteran of World War II and was awarded the Silver Star. Mr. Banning had worked for the Manchester Public School System for many years and retired from the communications dept of St. Francis Hospital. He had been an adult leader for the Boy Scouts of America in Troops 27 and 3 in Manchester. He was a member of the Manchester Church of the Nazarene and was active at the Windsor Hill Nazarene Family Camp & Retreat Center in Hillsboro, NH. Besides his wife, he leaves his son, Lewis Banning Jr. and his wife, Rosalyn of Southington; his daughters, Susan Baron of Greensboro, NC, Diane Bliss and her husband, Paul of Glastonbury, and Jane Bernier and her husband, Clifford of Brooklyn; and his daughter-in-law, Lori Banning-Smith and her husband, Stoner Smith of Ellington. He also leaves his grandchildren, Lewis D. 3141 Lida Mae (Price) Snyder Fraly, 80, of Crocket, Texas, died Nov. 6 at her daughter's home.
She was born to Elijah and LaRue (Calhoun) Price in Portland. Her parents died when she was 10, so she was raised by her dad's sister, Mae Clarke, in Portland.
In 1950, she married her childhood sweetheart, James R. Snyder, in Vancouver, Wash. They had three children together and divorced in 1966. They remained good friends until Jim's death in 2000.
In August 1967, Lida married Donald E. Fraly in Stevenson, Wash. They made their home in Manistee, Mich., and had two sons.
After Don's death in 1975, Lida moved home to Oregon and worked for many years at Hewlett-Packard in Corvallis. She retired in 1998.
In May 2009, due to poor health, she moved to Crocket to live with her daughter, Brenda.
She is survived by daughter Beverly McCarthy and husband Terry of Albany; son James R. Snyder III and wife Helena of Washington; daughter Brenda Snyder and husband Wayne of Texas; son Freeman E. Fraly and wife April of Germany; four granddaughters; three grandsons; three great-granddaughters; three great-grandsons; one great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Freeman, Lynn, George and Lawrence Price; sister Marion Schmidt; son Edward; and husbands James R. Snyder and Donald E. Fraly.

He died on his farm at the age of eighty-seven years. He had a family of thirteen children, several of whom settled in town. His son Ebenezer, born in Berlin May 30, 1796, married Sally BENJAMIN, daughter of Maj. Josiah, and settled on a farm on the opposite side of the road from his father. He was always a farmer and resided in Berlin from his birth to the close of his long life, August 13, I885, aged eighty-nine years. He was the father of ten children, all of whom lived to mature age. Mr. BAILEY was a man of sterling integrity, a good citizen, and obliging neighbor. Ozias B. BAILEY is the only one of his sons now residing in Berlin. He is now a justice of the peace and is engaged in farming.

3145 Lieutenant Fremont W. Walton Honored Way Out In Oregon

Salem, Ore., Aug 25. - A patriotic party was given Thursday evening in honor of Lieutenant Fremont W. Walton, who recently returned from the first training camp of officers at the San Francisco Presidio, by his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. R.D. Barton, 598 North Seventeenth Street, assissted by Mrs. F.S. Barton, an aunt of the guest of honor. Lieutenant Walton is only 21 years old and besides being an officer was given his sheepskin as a graduate of the Oregon Agricultural College last June. He is a brother of Dr. R.W. Walton who is a graduate of Elizabethtown High School. Lieutenant Walton left to-day for American Lake after a short furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Walton, 790 North Seventeenth Street.
Red, white and blue asters lent an appropriate decorative scheme in the rooms. Games were enjoyed earlier in the evening and a program of music was given. Besides ukulele and guitar selections, Miss Lulu R. Walton gave readings and Miss Grace Elizabeth Smith and Mr. Allen Manning sang. Later dainty refreshments were served with a cake covered with tiny fluttering flags.

3147 Life has given us a sad corner to turn when Ron Blanchard?s big heart stopped on the morning of November 26 at the QEII hospital in Grande Prairie.
He was born on July 17, 1945, and passed away on November 26, 2021, at the age of 76. He was born in Greenbush Ontario, and after he finished tech school, he journeyed out to Saskatchewan and went farming for a little while. He then went to work at BF Goodridge tire shop in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. On September 22, 1972, he married Charlotte Covlin, and they moved to Fort Nelson British Columbia. He worked at a gas plant, and they lived there for almost 50 years. They were visiting Jeff and Jodi in Grande Prairie, when Ron got sick.
Ron leaves to mourn his wife Charlotte, son Eldon (Jane), son Jeffrey (Jodi), and daughter Pam. His grandsons Antonio, Khyver, Bryce, Rhett, and his only granddaughter Ericka. He also leaves behind to mourn his sisters Helen (Garnett), Evelyn, Beth, Lillian, Bernice, and brothers John and Kenneth.
He is predeceased by his parents Eldon and Marion Blanchard, sister Shirley Blanchard, and nephews Arthur Blanchard, Stephen Blanchard and Troy Laming.
His service will take place on December 4, at the Bear Creek Funeral Home. At 10 am, there will be a public viewing, and the service at 11 am for invited guests only.

Loving son of Mavis (Atkins) Durant and the late Gordon Wesley Durant. Beloved husband of Anne (McCurdy) Durant and cherished father of Gordon Durant (Shannin) and John Durant (Stephanie). 3149 Life-long area resident John Orval Drynan died at the Ottawa Civic Hospital Nov. 20 (1994) following a lengthy illness. He was 68. Mr. Drynan, who lived in Carleton Place, was born in Ramsay Township to mother Ellen Jane Cochrane and father John Robert Drynan on Sept. 22, 1927. He was educated in Clayton. He married Shirley Munro Dec. 31, 1953 in Middleville and lived in this area for 20 years. He owned Valley Taxi, retiring two years ago. Mr. Drynan is survived by son Donald Drynan of Almonte and daughters Deborah Coady and Dianna Drynan of Almonte, Darlene Cole of Carleton Place, Dona Drynan of Kars and Wanda Obst of Arnprior. The funeral service was held at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home in Carleton Place on Nov. 23, with Rev. John Bushby presiding. Interment at Clayton United Cemetery. With heavy hearts the family announce, In the early morning of October 19 Lila slipped away to join her late husband Arnold. She was predeceased by her husband, her siblings and a grandson Shane.
Left to mourn and forever love her is her daughter Eleanor (Ron) Scharf, grandson Jim (Suzie) Donley and granddaughter Heather (Mike) Stiegler, Rachel (widow of Shane).
