Allen was born in Hempstead, N.Y. He was a train engineer for Oregon Steel Mills.
Allen is survived by his mother, Jean Dusing; and daughters, Debbie Hansen, Kris Hotchkiss, and Jeannine Robinson.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, in Crescent Grove Cemetery, Tigard. Arrangements by Springer and Son Aloha Funeral Home & Crematory.
