- BROSSEAU, James R., age 73, died on September 6, 2005, in Winter Haven, Florida, following complications of a stroke. He was born in Kalamazoo on February 16, 1932, to Robert S. and Rhea M. (Derhammer) Brosseau, both of whom have predeceased him. He relocated to Winter Haven in 1964, where he established an advertising company, Gator Promotions. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was an avid pilot. Jim is survived by his wife, Doris (Shea) Brosseau, a daughter, Debra A. (Robert) Johnson, a son, Douglas R. Brosseau, four grandchildren and a sister, June (Duane) Avard, of Schoolcraft. Memorial services were held at the family residence, 2800 21st St. N.W., Winter Haven, on September 11.
