    • Last Rites Tuesday for Mrs. Lucas
      Funeral services for Mrs. George H. Lucas, 82, who died of a heart condition at Holy Family Hospital yesterday, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sandin-Fuhrman Funeral Home, the Rev. Lester Strubhar officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from today until the time of services on Tuesday.
      Mrs. Lucas was born April 30, 1879, in DeWitt, the daughter of Lydia and John A. Purinton. She received her education in Preston schools. On Oct. 5, 1904, she was married to George H. Lucas at Preston. The couple moved to Estherville in December of 1914, where Mr. Lucas was in business until his death in 1933.
      Mrs. Lucas was a member of the Christian Church, the Order of Eastern Star and Pythian Sisters.
      She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Herman (Vineta) Jensen, two granddaughters, Mrs. George (Judith Lynne) Shadle and Roxanne Lucas Jensen, and one great grandson, Randall Jensen Shadle.
      She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.
      Pallbearers will be Ray Rhodes, V.A. Gibbs, Lawrence Jensen, Francis T. Shadle, Delbert Hinsch and F.E. Rosendahl.
