    She was a graduate of the Arkport School, Mansfield State Teachers College and had done her post graduate work at Syracuse University. She had resided in the Hornell and Arkport area for Several Years. She had Taught elementary school in the former Washingon School in Hornell and Arkport Central School. Prior to her retirement in 1975. Vivian was a 73 year member of the First Presbyterian Church in Arkport and had Served as a trustee, Deacon and elder in the Church. She was active in the Church Choir and the Woman's Circle of the Church. she will be remembered as an avid Mets Fan and enthusiastic bowler. She and her husband were members of the former "500 Club."
    She was preceded in Death by her husband Homer Theodore King in 1974.
    She is survived by two sons James"gary" King
    and David (Betsy)King and one grandaughter Nicole King.

A resident of Andover for the past 30 years, on Dec 23 1943 he married Emma Folsing who died nov 9 1981. He graduated from wellsville Business institute. For many years he was a farmer in West Almond and later was a salesman for cheese production retiring in 1970 He is survived by a daughter,Vivian King Of arkport two grandchildren a sister mrs Robert(Ella) Howe of West Almond and several nieces and nephews friends may call from noon to 3 pm tuesday at the James Mullholland furneal home in Andover. Private furneral services will be conducted at the convenlence of the family by rev James Mosher paster Of Almond Union of Churches Burials will be in the hillside cemetery in Andover memorials may be made to the american cancer society or to the fund for the preservation of West Almond community church Mrs Robert Howe Rd 1 Almond.
