 | St. Margaret's Church, Rochester, Kent The earliest, and only medieval, part of the building is the tower which was either constructed or restored in 1465. The medieval church consisted of a nave and two chancels to the south of the nave, of this nothing remains. In 1823 rebuilding started with the nave completed the following year, the original chancel, tower and side chapels being retained. With the exception of the tower the medieval buildings were demolished a few years later and by 1840 the basic fabric of the present building was complete.

 | Stanley King Passed away peacefully at his home in Blind River in his 74th year on July 14, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Lillian, his son Allan and his daughter Angela (Dan Quenneville), his grandchildren Adam (Jenn), Crystal, Trisha, (Chris), Jennifer, Edouard, Kassandra (Brendon) and Ava, and his great grandchildren Conner, Auston, CJ, Carter, Oliver, Emmett, George and Skyla. He will be missed by his best friend and loyal companion, Cher. He also leaves many brothers and sister in laws and extended family and friends. Stan was predeceased by his parents Clifford and Lillian, his brother Lloyd, his daughters Sheila and Karen and his granddaughter Alicia.
Stan was an avid outdoorsman who admired and respected nature. A gentle man with an easy going spirit who adored his grand and great grandchildren. Family was most important to him and he enjoyed spending time with them the most. He will be forever missed by those who knew and loved him.
Cremation has taken place. Burial at Hillside Cemetery in Blind River, Ontario will take place on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11am with a luncheon to follow at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 189.

Stella Holl, 92, formerly of 303 Holland St., died yesterday in a local nursing home. She was born in Brockville, Ont., and resided in Syracuse 50 years.
Mrs. Holl was employed by Remington-Rand Corp. during World War II. She was a member of Delaware Street Baptist Church. She was past president of the Auxiliary of the Local Brotherhood of Railroad Engineers.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at White Chapel Memory Gardens, De Witt, the Rev. Dr. James E. Durham, pastor of Delaware Street Baptist officiating.
Calling hours at Greenleaf Funeral Home are 2 to 4 p.m. today.
