  • Notes
    • REEVES, Dallas Cecil - Beloved husband, loving father, uncle, grandfather, and exceptional friend, Dallas Reeves died peacefully on August 22, 2012 at the Ian Anderson House for palliative care, after a long battle with Cancer. Forever to be held in loving remembrance by Noreen (nee Dobbs), his wife of 48 years, his sons Ken (Jackie Costello), Greg (Carrie Allemang), and grandchildren Nicole, Christopher and Rebecca. He will be sorely missed by his siblings and in-laws, Jean Campbell, Arlene and John Woodworth, Faye and Garth Toombs, Lorna MACKinnon, Carol and Carl Pauptit, Lucille Dobbs and Judy and Barry Smith. Born in Freetown, PEI on January 7, 1938 he moved to Toronto in 1956 where he put down roots, met the love of his life, started his family and established his successful career of 47 long years in the Canadian highway trailer industry. His love of fast cars and car racing made him a great competitor and he pushed all the days he could at top speed. His passion for life will be sorely missed. Visitation and Memorial Service will be held to Celebrate Dallas' life at the Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON, on August 28th. Visitation starts at 10:00 a.m., Service at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ian Anderson House in Oakville or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
