FOSTER, Melvin (Mel) Louis In hospital in Carleton Place on Monday, October 20, 2003 at the age of 85 years. Melvin Louis Foster, husband of Olive Foster and best friend of Elizabeth Closs. Father of Marion Sparkman (Dennis) of Niagara Falls, Shirley Yach (Robert) of Denby, Glen Foster (Anne) of Almonte and the late Keith Foster. Beloved grandfather to 5 grandchildren. Brother of Elmer Foster (Joyce) of Almonte. Predeceased by his sister Edna (Guy) Yuill and his brothers Boyd, Eric and Carl. Memorial service at graveside in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte on Saturday, October 25, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. Donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
