- MUNRO, Wilbert 1909 - 2007. Peacefully with his family by his side, on April 2, 2007 at the Almonte General Hospital (Rosamond Wing). Beloved husband of Florence (nee Wark) for 73 years. Loving father of Ev. Barr (Pat McAuliffe), Eldon (Rita), Norma Blair (Herb), Glen (Elaine) and Barry (Dianne). Proud grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother Earl and by sisters Eva, Florence and Cora. Friends may call at the Almonte Chapel of Tubman Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte (613-256-2160) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment Guthrie United Cemetery, Clayton. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Almonte General Hospital/Fairview Manor Foundation would be appreciated by the Munro Family.
