The family announces with sorrow his death at the Timmins & District Hospital, on Thursday, March 11th, 2004, at the age of 81. Mr. Lawrence leaves behind his loving wife Dorothy nee Pich, his children John Pauline of Timmins, Betty Marcel Patry of Chilliwack, BC, Gloria Smith of Gravenhurst, Diane Alphonse Genier of Cochrane, Sharon Cliff Arnold of Barrie, Joanne David Wilson of Barrie, and Aldine Lemieux of Niagara Falls. He will also be remembered by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Mary Lawrence and by his son Ray Doiron. Friends may call at Salon Funraire Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 149 Third Street, Cochrane, on Friday from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm, and on Saturday from 1 - 2 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Irvine & Irvine Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 13th, 2004, at 3:00 pm with Pastor Lewis Byer officiating. Spring interment at the Cochrane Civic Cemetery. The family has requested that donations be made to the Knox Presbyterian Church, Cochrane.
