- Peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, Lois Whitteker (nee Barkley) of Johnstown, age 72. Loving mother of Shelley Cousineau (Vince) of Morewood and Tracy Hare (Geoff) of Sudbury. Lois will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Brandon and Brooke Cousineau. Predeceased by her parents Ralph and Eileen Barkley (nee Paul) and her brother Larry Barkley. Also survived by nieces, nephews and her brother Jim Barkley. A Celebration of Lois's life will be held at the Chesterville Legion on Thursday, August 31st from 7-9 p.m. Interment will be at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville. Donations to the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
