    • Mary, 84, passed away on August 10, 2014. Mary was born to Ralph and Gertrude (Huffman) Pennock in Maple Grove Township.
      She grew up on her family farm 2 miles south of Nashville. Attended the Biegh School until Biegh School consolidated with the Nashville W. Kellogg School. Graduated in 1947 and went to work in October of 1947 at Hastings Manufacturing Company until her retirement in 1991.
      Mary was a life member of the Eastern Star also served on the Barry County Fair Board, Hastings Women?s Club and member of the Presbyterian Church of Hastings.
      Preceding her in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Paul, Earl and Wayne.
      She is survived by her sister; Grace Tarbet, her very good friend Joan Warren, many nieces and nephews.
      Honoring to her wishes cremation has taken place.
      Memorial Services were held on Tuesday August 19, 2014 at Lauer Family Funeral Home-Wren Chapel in Hastings. Sue Olsen officiated. Private interment followed.
