  • Notes
    • He was a bombadier in the 883rd Bomber Squadron, 500th Bomber Group, 73rd Bomber Wing, XXI Bomber command of the Army Air Corps stationed at Isley Field, Saipan flying B-29s. The main target(s) of their bombing attacks were on the Japanese Home Islands. On 29 November 1944 the Bomber Command flew its 9th mission against the Industrial Area of Tokyo. Anti-aircraft fire was "heavy, meager to inaccurate" but one aircraft, Kenneth's, tail ID Z Square 44, disappeared without a trace for unknown reasons. It was the aircraft's 2nd mission, and the crew's first. Kenneth was declared Killed in Action on 29 November 1944.
