- Claire Shorter 1928 2008 Claire passed away Wednesday, June 18th, 2008. He was born in Meskanaw, SK. He is survived by his wife, Marie Shorter; sons, Jack Shorter, Terry Shorter and Gerald Shorter; daughters, Shelly Cantafio (Tom) and Laurie Shorter ( Aime Lepage); 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Claire was predeceased by his mother, Iva; father, George; brothers, Lionel (Lorraine) and Murly. Claire loved to Camp, fish and especially to hunt. He also enjoyed curling. Claire enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday June 23, 2008 at the Chapel of the Saskatoon Funeral Home.
