- MOODIE, Karen M. Owner of Valley Pools, Carleton Place At her home in Carleton Place in the presence of her loved ones Karen Marie (Lee) Moodie at the age of 46. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Mae (Horne) Lee. Beloved wife of Lyle Moodie. Dearly loved mother of Nicky (Tyler), Jessica, Leanne and Matthew (Violet); cherished grandmother of Madison, Nisha, Saoirse and Gavin. Dear sister of Allan (Billie), Brian (Bobbie), Mel, Wilma (Garry), Linda (Willie), Alfred (Brenda), Arlene (Stephen), Art (Penny), Patsy (Andrew) and Sharon (Michael). Special friend of Nora Ryan, Marg Deacon and Susan Lee. Karen will be fondly remembered by Lyle's family Glenn (Sandy) and Donna (late Cal) Moodie and Lois (Frank) Cameron, her nieces, nephews, all her family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Friday, February 1, 2008 from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment, Scotch Line Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (C.H.E.O.) would be appreciated.
