    • BLOOMER, Larry - Age 86, passed away Friday, December 2, 2005. Funeral service will be held at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 1 PM. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Larry was born July 13, 1919 to William and Elizabeth (Dowling) Bloomer in Flint. On June 17, 1939 he married his lovely wife, Muriel Joan Lough who passed away in 1994. He was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He participated in many battles in Japan, including Iwo Jima. Larry worked in car sales for many years until retiring in 1993. He is survived by a daughter, Betsy Bloomer, his sister, Gladys Nobles and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by is wife, parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
