- DILLON, Owen On Thursday, November 28, 2002 Owen Dillon "Poo" passed away peacefully at home, in his sleep after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his loving wife Beverley Dillon (nee Bowman). Loving father of Dawn, Christopher, Richard, Owen Jr., Simeon, Oral, Layton, Andrew and Aaron; and stepchildren Trevor, Tracy and Tanya. Also survived by his four sisters, four brothers and many grandchildren. Friends and well-wishers may visit at McEvoy Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Rd.) on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Ottawa Church of God, 1820 Carling Avenue. Interment to follow in the Parish of St. Ann, Jamaica. We would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses who have cared for Owen. We also thank the many friends that have supported us throughout this very difficult time. He will be sadly missed by everyone. May his soul rest in peace. In memoriam donations to the Ottawa Hospital Civic or General Campus for Sickle Cell Research would be appreciated by the family.
