 | 2 Killed, 6 Hurt at Wingham 2 Killed, 6 Hurt at Wingham

WINGHAM - A man and a woman were killed and six other people injured in a head on collision Monday afternoon on Highway 86 just east of here.
Dead are: Mrs. Margaret Adams, 68, of Proctor, Minn., and Reginald Coulter, 24, of RR 3, Wingham, drivers of the cars.
Three people are in serious condition at Wingham and District Hospital, including, Mrs. Wilfred H. Hamilton, 73, head and face cuts; Mrs. George Williams 73, skull injuries; Mrs. William M. Connell, 69, severe head injuries, scalp cuts and a neck injury, all of Wingham and in the Adams car.
The other three injured persons, released from hospital after treatment for minor injuries include, Mrs. Linda Coulter, 20, wife of the dead man; Barbara Henry, 19, and Mrs. Frances $ Errington, 46, both of Wingham.
The collision occurred about 4 p.m. when one of the cars was apparently turning off the highway into a restaurant. The people in the Coulter car were returning home from Listowel where they work at the Campbell Soup Co. Ltd.
