    Cameron - As a result of a falling scaffold at the Public School on Wednesday afternoon of last week Mr. Robert Cameron was struck in the back and paralysis set in, resulting in his demise at 7:15 Monday evening, at his home on Wilson street. Deceased was a son of the late John Cameron and Agnes McConnell, 9th line Bathurst, where deceased was born and lived there until twelve years ago, when he and his wife, whose name was Ida Hanna, came to Perth. For some years he conducted the grocery store on Wilson street, occupied by Mr. W. J. Wilson. He is survived by Mrs. Cameron and two sons, Millar, of Renfrew, and Donald at home. One brother, William, of Bathurst, survives. The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon from his late home to Elmwood cemetery, services being conducted by Rev. W. M. Grant, of which church deceased was a member. Deceased was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters.

    At the GWM Hospital, Perth, on Monday, January 10, 1972, there passed to eternal rest John Percival Cameron, in his 79th year.
    John Cameron, born March 20, 1893, at Wemyss, was the eldest son of the late William J. Cameron and his wife, Mary Thompson. In 1921 he moved from his birthplace to the "old homestead" where he took up residence with his former wife, Eva Rae Rutherford, who predeceased him in 1922. On March 1, 1929, he married Isobel D. Palmer who survives with a son, Allan, of Scarborough, and a daughter, Marion, of Belleville.
    Of a family of six, three survive, Stuart of Balderson, Kenneth of Harper and Margaret of Belleville. Two brothers predeceased him. Ray in 1958 and Walton in 1971.
    Upon retiring from farming, the late Mr. Cameron moved to the village of Wemyss where he continued to do carpentry.
    He was a member of Calvin United Church, acting as elder for several years.
    Funeral service was conducted by Mr. Isner of Calvin United Church, from Blair and Son Chanpel with interment in Elmwood Cemetery, Perth.
    Friends acting as pallbearers were Harold Blair, Arthur Bowes, Tom Brady, Tom Cameron, Jim Rutherford and Jim Gamble.

    OBITUARY
    RAY CAMERON
    The many friends of Ray Cameron were shocked to learn of his sudden passing on Tuesday, April Sth, at his home in Bathurst. Until the time of his death he was apparently in his usual health.
    Raymond Hanna Cameron was born in 1904 at Wemyss, the youngest son of the late William Cameron and his wife Mary MacFarlane Thompson, After attending Perth Collegiate Institute be took up farming on the family homestead and continued there until his death. He will be sadly missed in the community where he was known to all as a good neighbour, always willing to lend a helping hand to others.
    He served as a member of the Bathurst Township Area School Board from 1949 to December, 1957 and was chairman of the board during 1954 and 1955. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Perth.
    In October, 1942 be married Margaret Armour, eldest daughter of Alex Armour and the late Mrs. Armour, who survives with a daughter, Beth. and a son John.
    He is also survived by one sister, Miss Margaret Campbell of Belleville, and four brothers, John of Wemyss, Walton and Stewart of Balderson, and Kenneth of Harper.
    The funeral service on Friday, April 11th at the chapel of Blair and Son was attended by a great number of friends and relatives. The service was conducted by Rev. W. R. Alp, D.D. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were six neighbours, James Gamble, Mel Greenley, Robert Cameron, Thomas Cameron, Robert Richardson and Clifford Fyfe.

    It is with great sadness the family of Jean Susan Livingston announces her passing on March 15, 2023 at the age of 86. She was the much-loved wife of (Robert) Keith Livingston for 67 years. Cherished, devoted and respected Mother of Barbara (Rick) Hannah, Susan (Steve) Millotte and Cathy (Chris Williams). Grandma always had a special place in her heart for each of her grandchildren Sarah (Jason) Cordick, Jessica (Graham) Halsall, Hayley Williams (Justin Adams), Jayden Williams (Andrew Ward) and Cameron Williams, Great Grandma to Logan and Noah Cordick and Henry Halsall. Jean was the sister-in-law of Shirley McLenaghan (John McConnell), and the late Allan and Chris McIntosh.
    Jean grew up in Balderson ON, in 1955 she married Keith and moved to the farm on the second line of Drummond. There they raised three daughters and farmed full time. Many summers were spent at one of their favourite places, Mississippi Lake. Jean was a strong and respected lady, the loving force that kept the family close. She will be greatly missed by all those she crossed paths with.
    The arrangements will be private for Jean?s family in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
    A special thanks to Dr. Riehl, Dr. Del Grand and the amazing nurses on the second floor of the Perth Hospital. Your kindness and compassion did not go unnoticed.

    CAMERON, William Blair "Bill" Peacefully at Smiths Falls on his 56th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday, November 25th, 2006, William "Bill" Cameron of Lanark at the age of 79 years. Bill was a 35 year member of the Clyde Fire Department and long time member of the Lions Club of Perth; he was the dearly loved husband of Hazel (Munro) Cameron, devoted and respected father of Brian (Lynn) of Kanata and Cherylanne (Russ) Burke of Perth. Bill will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Greg & Erin Burke and Blair Cameron, his sister Phyllis (George) Reddick of Whitby, brother Harold (Norma) Cameron of Perth, his nieces, nephews, family and friends.     Obituary of Harold Donald Cameron
    Harold passed away at Lanark Lodge, Perth on the morning of Friday August 7th, 2020 surrounded by his family at the age of 89 years. He was predeceased by his parents Stuart and Olive (nee Blair) Cameron, his brother Bill and sister-in-law Hazel (nee Munroe) Cameron. Harold is survived by his sister Phyllis (George) Reddick. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 64 years Norma (nee Greer) Cameron, sons Paul (Patti) Cameron, Scott (Angie) Cameron and daughter Julie (Mike) Flint and his grandchildren Tricia (Branden) Barr and Nicholas Cameron (Nicole Cassell), Kent and Kara Cameron, Jadyn and Harrison Flint. Harold will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
    Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, a private service will be held. Interment to follow in the Scotch Line Cemetery. In remembrance of Harold contributions to the Balderson United Church, 131 Fallbrook Road, Balderson, ON, K0G 1A0 or Lanark Lodge Resident Activity Fund, 115 Christie Lake Road, Perth, ON, K7H 3C6 or any charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
