    George A. Price, 73, of 112 Woodlawn Avenue, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, February 13, 1955 at his home after an illness of several months.
    Surviving are his wife, one son, George Price, 136 Russell Road; a brother, Walter Price, Potsdam; two sisters, Mrs. Michael (Dora) Jerome, Potsdam and Mrs. Laura Bice, Ogdensburg, and two grandchildren.
    Mr. Price was born November 5, 1881 in Berwick, Ontario the son of Arthur and Catherine Ouderkirk Price. He received his early education in Berwick and moved to Potsdam with his parents when a boy of 12.
    On September 9, 1910 he and Neda LaPointe were married in Potsdam. He worked as a carpenter and millwright in Potsdam and Pyrites and on April 1, 1914 became employed by the Massena Works of Alcoa, working there until his retirement nine years ago. He was a member of Alcoa's 25-Year Club and of St. Mary's Church.

    Mr. Steenberg was born on April 25, 1920 in Stockholm, the son of Harlie and Martha (Price) Steenberg. He attended local schools and served in the army during World War II. He married Barbara Collins on Jan. 1, 1947 in Massena with Rev. Walter Page officiating.
    He worked for Alcoa, retiring in Jan. 1983 after 39 years of service as a forklift operator. After retirement, he spent winters in Bushnell, Fla. and tghe remainder of the year in Tennesee and Massena.

An Army veteran, Floyd served in World War II, in Germany. Floyd spent most of his career with Borden's Ice Cream division. Starting as mechanic, he became a plant operating engineer at several plants. Floyd went on to be a plant manager of one of their largest plants. Floyd holds a number of patents for the invention of Ice Cream sandwich manufacturing and collating machines. An avid hunter and fisherman in his youth, Floyd became an excellent gardener and chef after his retirement. His greatest love was his family.
    He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 67 years, Alice Price of Manahawkin; and four children, Judith (John) of Hopewell, New York, Lorraine (Petr) Kuzma of Princeton, New Jersey, Edward (Marion) Price of Manahawkin, NJ, Michelle (Todd) Tuttle of Charlotte, North Carolina, along with their spouses; his grandchildren, Carl Alexander of Tracy, California, Alouette Alexander of Randolph, MA and Christopher Morgan of Charlotte, North Carolina; and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Macyn Meaney of Randoph, MA. Floyd worked hard to make every family event fun and special for his extended family and will be greatly missed by all. Hours after Floyd's death, his son Edward also passed away.
    The family will receive relatives and friends for both Floyd and Edward Thursday April 19, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Timothy E. He was pre-deceased by his parents and a brother, Larry C. Burnap in 1983.
    Born at home on the Tracey Farm in Stockholm, NY on April 21, 1938 to the late Herald E. and Viola Steenberg Burnap, Leon graduated from St. Lawrence Central High School in 1956 and attended Canton ATI, graduating in 1958, with a degree in Business Management. He served with the U.S. Army from 1961-1963. Upon his return from the service, he worked for Barstow Motors, Barrett Paving Materials and then worked for worked for General Motors as a Lab worker and technician, retiring in 1992 after 23 years of service. After his retirement, Leon was the Postal Carrier in Norfolk and Potsdam for several years. Leon was always involved in the community, being a member of the Norfolk American Legion Post #925, the Mason's What Cheer Lodge #689, the Media Shriners and Scottish Rites. He was active as the Norfolk Town Historian and was curator of the Norfolk Museum for over 24 years. Leon in his spare time enjoyed working in his hobby apple orchard and watching wildlife, especially birds. She was an active member of the New Testament Church, Massena Senior Citizens, and the VFW Retirees. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, knitting and doing ceramics.
    Shirley is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Bill MacGregor of Syracuse; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth R. and Liz Wood of South Carolina; Richard A. and Joyce Wood of Canton; and Jerry Paul and Brenda Wood of Massena; an aunt, uncle, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her many loving church friends and family.
    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Mary Caudill.

    Edward William Price, 55, of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away April 14, 2012. Born in Syracuse, New York, Ed attended Scituate, Massachusetts High School and Emerson College. Ed moved to Columbus, Ohio, where he started his career as a computer engineer at Jeffrey Mining & Equipment Company. While in Columbus, Ed volunteered with the Columbus Zoo, where he had the unique opportunity to babysit a six-month old mountain lion. Ed moved to Freehold, NJ where he continued his computer engineering career at Continental Insurance in Neptune, NJ. While in Freehold, Ed was an active member of the Freehold First Aid Squad. While working for Continental Insurance, Ed met Marion Daniels, the love of his life and wife for 22 years. Ed and Marion moved to Manahawkin where Ed became a life member of the Stafford Township First Aid Squad. Born with a congenital heart defect, Ed bravely endured a number of surgeries and medical problems, throughout he continued to live life to its fullest owning a disk jockey business and most recently motorcycling.
    Ed is survived by wife of 22 years, Marion Daniels Price, Manahawkin; his mother, Alice Price; and three sisters, Judith (John) of Hopewell, New York, Lorraine (Petr) Kuzma of Princeton, New Jersey, Michelle (Todd) Tuttle of Charlotte, North Carolina, along with their spouses; his nephews, Carl Alexander of Tracy, California, Alouette Alexander of Randolph, MA and Christopher Morgan of Charlotte, North Carolina; and grandnephew, Tyler Meaney and grandniece, Macyn Meaney of Randoph, MA.
    Quick with his wit, Ed brought a number of laughs to his extended family and will be greatly missed by all. Hours before Edward's death, his father, Floyd, also passed away.
    The family will receive relatives and friends for both Edward and Floyd Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ. The funeral Mass will be offered 11 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at St. Mary of the Pine's Church, Manahawkin, NJ. Committal is private.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Ed's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project, 370 Seventh Ave., Suite 1802, New York, New York.

    Funeral services for Carol Johnson, age 66, of Ogdensburg, will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at First Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lynn Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Ogdensburg Cemetery in the Spring. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Frary Funeral Home, on 515 Caroline Street. Mrs. Johnson passed away at Albany Medical Center on Monday, March 16, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
    Carol is survived by her husband, Joseph; a daughter, Ramona Kennedy and her husband, Andrew; one son, William Harper, and his companion, Heather Kennedy; four grandchildren, Daniel Kennedy, Nathan Kennedy, Cody Harper and Abigail Harper; a special sister-in-law, Debbie Burke and her husband, Timothy; and three nephews, Marc, Michael and Joseph.
    She was predeceased by a son, Yancey Harper, in 1997.
    Carol was born on July 27, 1948, in Ogdensburg, the daughter of Vernon D. Perry and Remith S. Bice. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy. Carol first married William Harper and that marriage ended in divorce. She later married Joseph Johnson on January 3, 1981 with Deacon David Sandburg officiating. Carol first went to work Ames in Ogdensburg and then went on to work at ACCO International Brands in 1977 retiring in 1998.
    Carol?s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo.

    Ken is survived by a son Scott and two daughters Angela Wells of Syracuse and Abigale Brooke of Ilion, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many brothers and sisters ( Ken was the oldest of thirteen) also many nieces and nephews.

He was a member of Defiance Fire Company in Altmar for 45 years. He also umpired men and women?s softball leagues for the past 45 years. Dale enjoyed hunting and golfing.
    Surviving are his wife, Diane, two daughters, Heather (Jason) Stupp of North Volney and Amanda Haywood of Altmar, two sisters, Sharon Horning of Parish and Zona Oakes of South Carolina, five brothers, Eugene Haywood of Altmar, Floyd Haywood of Williamstown, Kevin Haywood of Central Square, Terry Haywood of Richland and Darryl Haywood of Norfolk and four grandchildren, Hayley, Wyatt, Jason and Hayden.
