Barbara Ann Broders Henley, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the Masonic Home of Shelbyville. A gathering of friends and family will take place at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. ? 6:00 p.m.
Ms. Henley was born in Whittier, California to the late Emil Herman and Blanche Lucille Bailey Broders. She was retired from Kentucky State Government and a member of First Church of Christ Scientist of Frankfort and of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She often enjoyed bowling.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Gregory J. Henley.
She is survived by her sons, Douglas T. (Sherri) Henley and Michael B. Henley (Debra), of Frankfort and Jeffrey P. Henley(Valentyna); her brother, Roger (Janet) Broders, of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois; and by her grandchildren, Theron (Jennifer), Trevor, Erin (Brendan), Wendi, Amy, Michelle, and Neil. She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren.

Gregory James Henley Frankfort-Gregory James Henley, 48, passed away unexpectedly February 16, 2008 at his home. Greg, a life-time resident of Frankfort, graduated from Franklin County High School in 1977. He was employed for twenty-eight years by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Office of Information Systems (Finance and Administration Cabinet), where he served as a Production Coordinator. Greg is survived by his mother, Barbara Broders Henley and his father, James P. Henley, both of Frankfort, his son, Neil Tyler Henley and a granddaughter, Antonia. He leaves three brothers, Douglas (wife Sherri), Michael (Violet Burnett), and Jeffrey (Sara Giles). Greg is also suvived by several nieces and nephews Michelle, Theron and Trevor Henley, Justin Giles, Erin Hardin, Wendi and Amy Miller, all of Frankfort. Extended family consists of an uncle and aunt, Roger and Jan Broders and Barrington, Illinois and three cousins, Julie Nagle, Rick and Randy Broders, also of Barrington. Greg will also be missed by his long-time friend, Harold Miles. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel followed by a short memorial service.
