Donna Meyer
MEYER, Donna Jean February 16, 1951 - October 8, 2018 Donna passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 in Regina, Saskatchewan. She is survived by husband Gordon and four sons Kevin, Nicholas (grandsons Brock, Rhett, Zayde and their mother Chelsey), Nathan (granddaughters Alyssa, Haylee and their mother Jennifer) and Shawn (Alex) and grandsons Weston and Wyatt). Donna is also survived by her mother Mable Deinstadt; brother Elvin and sister Irene; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Melvin and sister Evelyn. Donna and Gordon were married September 23, 1972. They started their marriage in Calgary. In 1976, they bought their farm just outside of Hodgeville where they started growing their family. The farm is where mom loved to work in her large garden. The family moved to Balgonie in 1991, where Donna lived out the rest of life. A Graveside Service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. (Please meet inside the cemetery gates just prior to 2:00 p.m.) In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 2550 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1 to help fund the research for a cure for Dementia.
